Instructions
1: Bring a 6 qt pot of water to boil. 2: Prepare the meat by combining ground pork, fish sauce, sugar, MSG, chicken bouillon, and black pepper. Set aside. 3: Once the water boils, create meatballs from the ground pork and drop them into the boiling water. Allow to cook for 5 minutes. 4: Add carrots and celery and allow to cook for another 5 minutes. 5: In a separate pot, cook macaroni according to package instructions. 6: Season the soup with additional fish sauce, sugar, and chicken bouillon as needed. 7: Assemble the bowl with macaroni, green onions, cilantro, black pepper, fried shallots, and ladle in the soup.
